A. No, not whilst wearing contact lenses. The drop has been specifically formulated to work directly on the surface of the eye. However contact lens wearers may find it beneficial to apply ROHTO® DRY EYE RELIEF 10-15 minutes prior to lens application and immediately after removal.

A. ROHTO® DRY EYE RELIEF in the daily unit dose format is recommended for the treatment of occasional dry eye symptoms. Its unique formulation will rapidly relieve the feeling of dryness and being in sealed doses are safe un-opened until the expiry date on the pack. However you must discard of the daily dose unit 12 hours after first opening.

Q - I worry about putting ‘chemicals’ in my eye?

A. ROHTO® DRY EYE RELIEF contains HydraMed, a polymer composed of natural derivatives of the Tamarind seed, which mimics one of the natural elements of the tear film, and Hyaluronic Acid which is naturally found in the eye and other parts of the body. Consequently ROHTO® DRY EYE RELIEF integrates with the natural tears and is well accepted by the eye; it stays around in the tears longer, prolonging the relief experienced by many users.

Q – What are the benefits of the individual ROHTO® DRY EYE RELIEF units?

A. Strictly speaking, ROHTO® DRY EYE RELIEF is not a single use unit dose, because the cap can be replaced and the dose reused within the same day (12 hours). This gives it unique benefits over conventional unit doses that must be discarded after every single use. However it retains the benefit that there is no additional chemical helping to preserve the solution from contamination. Some users develop sensitivity to the preservatives used in multi-dose bottles and consequently a unit dose option is best for them.

Q - Are there any side-effects?

A. There are no known side effects associated with ROHTO® DRY EYE RELIEF. Some people may experience temporary blurring when the drop is first administered but this should clear within a few minutes. Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
